This collaborative program between East Georgia State College and Augusta 大学 is designed to accommodate students in Augusta and the surrounding area who do not meet freshman admission requirements at Augusta 大学.
EGSC students can take classes on Augusta 大学’s Summerville campus and, following the completion of 30 credit hours in the program, those with a cumulative Grade Point 平均2.3 or higher can opt to transfer into a bachelor’s degree program at Augusta 大学. Capacity-limited Allied 健康 Science programs have additional admissions requirements that students should research, as applicable to their interests.
Advantages of this program include affordability, better access to student services, smaller class sizes, a student-focused learning environment, experienced faculty and staff, and individualized tutoring and advisement in EGSC’s Academic Center for Excellence.

I live in Aiken or Edgefield counties. Can I receive a tuition waiver?
East Georgia State College is able to provide a border county waiver to access in
state tuition rates for students who maintain domicile in Aiken or Edgefield County
in South Carolina. That waiver can be accessed via the myEGSC Portal. 学生 living in other SC counties, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina and Florida
are eligible for in-state tuition as well.
What is the program curriculum?
EGSC will provide learning support classes in Augusta, as well as classes to make
任何 High School Curriculum deficiencies and core curriculum 课程. Course offerings
are based on student demand and faculty availability. 学生 are able to complete core curriculum, transferrable to any 大学 System
of Georgia school. Courses are taught face to face, via zoom and/or 十大正规网赌平台.
How is the program structured?
学生 will work with their academic advisors to choose their 课程. 学生
enroll through EGSC and generally take 12-15 credit hours per semester.
What if I applied to Augusta 大学 and did not meet the admissions criteria?
Augusta 大学 招生 will forward the names of first time in college student
applicants who do not meet AU admissions criteria to EGSC. 学生 can sign a form
provided by AU 招生 to have their official HS transcript and test scores released
to EGSC admissions for consideration.
学生 will need to complete a separate, official application for admission to EGSC.
Do you have on-campus housing?
On-campus housing is not currently an option for EGSC-Augusta students, however our
students can choose to live in student-centered apartment 复合物 located around
the AU campus. There are shuttles around campus that are in close proximity to certain
复合物.

Do I have to pay tuition to EGSC and Augusta 大学?
学生 will pay EGSC tuition and fees, which includes Augusta 大学’s mandatory
and elective fees for amenities such as the 大学 健康 Center on campus,
computer labs, campus meal plans, intramural sports, and more.
